A nursing assistant/care assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their profession and enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together with the team of nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the residents to provide a good life every day.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the elderly, where your main tasks are to provide safe and secure personal care. You support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday life. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with high-quality care in accordance with what has been agreed upon with the resident in the care plan.

This includes, among other things:

• Personal care and support, utilizing the residents' own resources.

• Working according to Norlandia's concept of Tasty Meals to ensure our residents enjoy their food and that the dining experience adds joy to their daily life.

• Documenting according to the Social Services Act; maintaining social journals and establishing and following up on care plans.

• Planning, offering, and conducting daily activities, outdoor activities, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities.

• Performing service tasks such as cleaning apartments, washing clothes, escorting, and shopping.

• Receiving and performing delegated tasks such as medication delegation.

• Actively participating in the organization's quality and improvement work.

Timansstenar is located in the beautiful Ljungaviken by the sea. It is a modern elderly home with 60 apartments, catering to both dementia and somatic residents. There is a sunroom, spa, and a large lovely garden with a greenhouse.

• You need to have proof of the right to use the title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

• Previous experience in care and support is highly meritorious.

• You need to have good documentation skills.

• You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

• We prefer that you have good computer skills.

• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations.

Currently, we operate around 50 elderly homes with our headquarters in Stockholm and an accounting and payroll office in Skene. Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period

Start date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance..
