The mission of the Staffing Pool is to meet the departments' need for personnel during short-term absences and to staff the hospitals in Karlskrona and Karlshamn with high competence, joy, and a willingness to serve.

The Staffing Pool consists of permanent employees including nursing assistants, caregivers, nurses, and staffing coordinators, as well as hourly employees in various categories, all gathered under a department head. About the Job

Are you attracted by variety and flexibility in your job? Do you want to gain experience by trying different workplaces and working methods while broadening your competence? Then we have the job for you! As a permanent employed nurse, you will belong to the Staffing Pool but will perform your work in various psychiatric care departments and clinics in both Karlskrona and Karlshamn. The departments we staff include the psychiatric emergency, addiction, BUP, ward 28, and 21.

The position entails variation and change. You will gain broad competence and continuously meet new colleagues during your staffing assignments. Working in the Staffing Pool requires experience and flexibility, and we therefore offer a salary supplement to our permanent employees.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and shows great commitment with a good sense of service. You should enjoy working independently. You are a licensed nurse with at least two years of experience. Work experience in psychiatric care is desirable and can be an advantage. We would prefer you to have a specialist education in psychiatry, and we place great importance on personal suitability.

For the position, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish. It is an advantage if you have experience from several different operations. As a person, you need to be service-oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to build relationships. You are positive and enjoy the variety that this work entails. You will enjoy working in different departments, meeting new patients and colleagues. As a nurse in the staffing pool, you will receive an individually tailored introduction and training plan.

Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Applicants who are considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.
