About Us

The Medical Clinic provides the residents of Blekinge access to specialized care within the internal medicine field and operates at hospitals in both Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

We are a professional knowledge organization characterized by high quality of care, a willingness to develop, engagement, responsibility, and participation. The Kidney Center in Karlskrona is located in new premises in building 46 and provides kidney care, including hemodialysis (HD) and a kidney outpatient clinic. The dialysis unit has 24 treatment places and is open Monday to Saturday with evening hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The kidney outpatient clinic is open during the day, Monday to Friday.

About the Job

We are now looking for a nurse to join our happy team at the dialysis unit who can independently perform hemodialysis treatments. Work within the other functions of the Kidney Center may also be included. The work is based on a person-centered approach, which means that the patient becomes involved in their dialysis treatment. This is a challenging and exciting task.

Training will take place alongside experienced colleagues. You will receive an individual introduction period so that you as a nurse will feel secure before you work independently on the unit. If you are newly graduated as a nurse, we also offer you to participate in Region Blekinge's introduction program, which includes mentorship/coaching.

About You

It is a requirement that you are a licensed nurse. We prefer that you have experience in kidney care and/or dialysis work. If you have supervisor training, it is an advantage. You should be interested in technology in healthcare and be able to work independently. As a person, you are engaged, meticulous, and flexible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
