Our reception is located in both Karlshamn and Karlskrona, and we collaborate across the region. Organizationally, the dietitians belong to the Rehabilitation Clinic, along with several other paramedical units. We all have our offices on the same floor in the hospital, which fosters a good and close collaboration with each other.

You will work in Karlshamn, “The little big city,” together with three dietitian colleagues. Karlshamn has been ranked as the best municipality to live and reside in within Blekinge, thanks to its high quality of life. A charming city with close proximity to the city center, the sea, and the archipelago. It is easy to live here, with short distances, bike-friendly streets, and a safe environment for children and adults. The Öresund train provides good commuting opportunities, and the hospital is not far from the train station.

About the Job

Our mission covers almost the entire hospital and is complemented by outpatient services and primary care. As a dietitian, you have a natural role in care departments and receptions. In addition to nutritional assessments, education and consultation for nursing staff are included. You collaborate with other professional categories and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of teamwork.

You will also work independently and influence your own planning. With us, you have the opportunity to influence your areas of responsibility based on previous experiences and interests. The position only involves adult patients and is primarily focused on medicine.

We have a medical secretary assigned to us dietitians in Karlshamn who handles part of our administrative work.

To maintain good cohesion in the group, we prefer that you work on-site, but we can offer that a certain part of the position can be done remotely if needed.

The temporary position lasts for 12 months with a possible extension.

About You

We are looking for a licensed dietitian. It is positive if you have experience in your professional role, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates to apply. Experience in inpatient and outpatient care is an advantage, but we also place great importance on personal suitability.

Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
