About Us

We are looking for a summer substitute at the Rehabilitation Clinic in Blekinge for the summer of 2026.

Your service will start with a 14-day introduction to help you transition into the work smoothly. Throughout the summer, an experienced colleague will be on duty at the same time.

About the Job

As a speech therapist with us at the Rehabilitation Clinic, you will work with patients who have aphasia, dysphagia, and dysarthria. The patients are part of our inpatient and outpatient care. You will conduct clinical assessments and treatments in close collaboration with other team members. The team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

About You

If you are a student from semester 6 and onwards or a newly graduated speech therapist, you are welcome to apply. If you have a license and want to try out rehabilitation, you are also welcome with your application. Experience from practice/work in a stroke unit is an advantage. Since much of your work is team-based, we want you to have a positive and humble attitude towards teamwork. Very good language skills in Swedish are a requirement, as you will communicate with patients, relatives, colleagues, and in some cases authorities in both speech and writing.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
