About Folktandvården Blekinge

Folktandvården Blekinge, with over 300 employees, is part of Region Blekinge. We have 11 general dental clinics throughout the county, from Jämjö in the east to Sölvesborg in the west. Specialist dental care is available in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

About Us

At the dental clinic in Rödeby, there are 3 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, and dental nurses. Together, we have broad competence and experience in all areas of general dental care. With us, there are opportunities to help develop future working methods. We are open and receptive to new ideas and change initiatives. Rödeby is located about 10 km outside Karlskrona and offers a variety of shops, schools, and pharmacies. There are good public transport connections, and the town is within cycling distance to Karlskrona city center. Free parking is available next to the clinic. We are close to Blekinge's rich nature with archipelagos, sea, forests, and lakes. Karlskrona has UNESCO World Heritage status, a maritime history, and good opportunities for a rich and active leisure time.

About the Job

Our work is characterized by our vision, and at the clinic, we provide dental care for children and adolescents, adult dental care, and activities within the framework of Folktandvården's population and public health responsibility. We work in teams with a delegated working method, and as a dental nurse, we see that you can work with your full competence. You will work with all common dental nurse tasks at a general dental clinic, including assistance, sterilization, patient work, and reception/administrative tasks. The job requires you to be independent and flexible while also requiring good collaboration with the rest of the team. We view the willingness to streamline and develop operations positively.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a crisis management role. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). About You

We are looking for someone with a recognized dental nurse qualification, preferably with a few years of experience in the profession, but this is not a requirement. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is essential. You are passionate about working with people and always have the patient in focus. You enjoy working in a team and finding solutions to challenges with colleagues. We value your sense of responsibility in your work approach and your ability to prioritize in stressful situations. We think it is important that you are driven and engaged; as a person, you are meticulous and have a sense of structure and planning. You should also have good collaboration skills, be good at meeting, communicating, and building good relationships.
