JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Elderly Care Administration's Health and Medical Care Organization is responsible for health and medical care throughout Karlskrona municipality, including short-term care, ordinary housing, and our special accommodations. Our team in Karlskrona municipality is now looking for a new colleague who wants to work as an occupational therapist together with a wonderful group!

We offer you a meaningful, varied, and stimulating job alongside colleagues with extensive experience and broad knowledge in the profession. Whether you have many years of experience or are newly graduated, you will have the opportunity to develop with us; we are a workgroup that cares for each other and shares our experiences and knowledge. As an occupational therapist with us, you will meet patients in need of assistance at home, in special housing, and/or short-term activities based on the occupational therapist's profession. The work is flexible, and you have great opportunities to control your own workday. We work with a single entry point and jointly manage our inflow to contribute to equitable and accessible care. Your closest workgroup will consist of licensed occupational therapists and rehabilitation assistants. We are currently working to expand interdisciplinary work and are focusing on person-centered care. There are good conditions for interdisciplinary work and collaboration with other professions as we share office space with, among others, the elderly care physiotherapists, nurses, and case managers. There are great opportunities to contribute to quality work within the administration.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as an occupational therapist, you need a license as an occupational therapist. We are looking for you who want to work according to evidence-based methods, focusing on the assignment and the patient. You enjoy working in a team and strive for common goals. It is natural for you to compromise and share information and knowledge. We are looking for someone who is communicative and clear and has the ability to listen actively to understand others' perspectives and provide and receive constructive feedback. You are service-oriented and show a genuine interest in customers and their questions and problems.
