We are now looking for a conversation therapist with basic psychotherapy training for the first line in Blekinge, located in Karlshamn.

We are looking for a new colleague who wants to help continue building our operations within primary care in Blekinge. The first line belongs to an organization - A way in, contact center for children's and young people's mental health. Within the unit that belongs to eastern primary care, there are assessment and advisory teams, the first line for children and young people with mental health issues, and psychologists from maternal and child health care. Our goal is to create a service that best meets different age groups and issues based on mixed competencies and experiences.

Making a difference for children, young people, and families is our common drive. Eastern primary care consists of six health centers within Karlskrona municipality, five youth clinics in the region, and primary care rehabilitation. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and patient needs are at the center.

About the Job

The first line within the contact center has a broad mission and is regional. Our main task is to provide advice, support, and treatment for children and young people with mental health issues. Currently, we have 10 psychiatric nurses/social workers/psychotherapists in the operation.

We collaborate as needed with primary care doctors and nurses, BUP, schools, and social services. We are committed to having a flexible operation that focuses on the needs of the child/youth and family. We are pragmatic in our approach and benefit greatly from knowledge in CBT, solution-focused and/or psychoeducational methods, family therapy, and developmental psychology. We have regular supervision in our work.

Within the framework of primary care, you will work with psychological tasks such as treatment, counseling, lectures, and parent groups for children, young people, and their families. You will also participate in various collaborative forms with the aforementioned institutions and provide consultation to them.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a nurse/social worker/assistant with basic psychotherapy training, level 1, and enjoys developing and improving work together with other colleagues in the unit. We hope you are engaged and see improvement work as a natural part of daily work. You are used to working both independently and in a group. Experience in psychotherapeutic or supportive work with children, young people, and their families is an advantage.

Applicants who are considered for employment must present a certificate from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a war position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
