Delivery Department

As a midwife in the Delivery Department, you play a key role in caring for the pregnant woman before, during, and after childbirth. You ensure that safe and secure care is provided and support the new family. The delivery department has six delivery rooms, five antenatal places, and two care rooms. Telephone counseling and outpatient services are part of the daily work.

Postnatal Ward

The midwife in the postnatal ward supports and helps the new family to have a safe and good start to their new life. The postnatal ward cares for babies born after gestational week 35. There are 8 care places available. Telephone counseling and outpatient services are part of the daily work. The midwife in the postnatal ward assists with late-term pregnancy terminations. In the delivery and postnatal wards, we focus on person-centered care in a team around the pregnant and new family together with other professionals, such as nursing assistants, doctors, social workers, and more.

About You

We are looking for a licensed midwife with experience from the delivery department or postnatal ward. You are engaged and proactive in your role as a midwife and have a person-centered, quality-conscious, and service-oriented approach where our families are the focus.

As a person, you are positive and flexible and can adjust your planning based on the situation. You are social and find it easy to collaborate with new colleagues - and you naturally have a good attitude towards everyone you meet. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Other

Applicants who are considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
