About the job

The work involves implementing decisions for the services contact person, escort service, respite care, and support families, according to LSS.

This is done with contractors and intermittently employed staff (hourly employees). The target group includes children, youth, adults, and the elderly.

Responsibilities

  • You have overall responsibility for recruiting employees and contractors for the various services.
  • You guide and support the staff and contractors as needed.
  • You collaborate with the person receiving the service, guardians, legal representatives, and individuals in the person's network.
  • You are responsible for systematic documentation, the establishment of implementation plans, payroll management, etc.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues in the team, where 50% administrative support is included.

Qualifications

  • You have a university degree as a social educator, behavioral scientist, social worker, or another university education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • You have good and broad knowledge of various diagnoses within LSS and SoL.
  • You have knowledge of low-arousal responses and AAC.
  • You work through creating a secure environment and motivational pedagogy.

Probationary employment may be applied if necessary.

For positions where a license/valid proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of a protected professional title is required, this must be submitted before employment.

Language assessment is conducted for certain professional groups before employment can be considered.

For positions that involve direct and regular contact with children and youth, as well as for activities within LSS, care and nursing, health care, psychiatric care, and addiction treatment, a valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented or submitted before employment.
