Business Controller at Webhallen – Close to Business, Close to Gaming Culture

Role Description

As a Business Controller, you will have a central and business-oriented role in the Business Support department responsible for BI and business development. You will also work closely with Webhallen's and NetOnNet's shared finance department. You will play an important role in driving the business forward through fact-based insights and being an initiative-taking and action-oriented partner to the management team. The role also involves close contact with other companies within Komplett Group.

Main Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Follow-up: Support and challenge the business with ongoing analysis, follow-up, and profitability insights.
• Financial Management: Coordinate and develop the budgeting and forecasting process. Responsible for monthly closing with a focus on business analysis, margin, and follow-up on deviations.
• Advisory & Communication: Clearly explain economic relationships and results in an accessible way for different target groups.
• Challenge and contribute new perspectives to the management team, with whom you will have close collaboration.
• Process Development: Drive improvements in processes, working methods, and reporting structures.
• Collaboration: Close cooperation with sales, product, and marketing teams to promote data-driven and well-founded business development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as a Business Controller, preferably within retail or similar. You are confident in the role and used to analyzing sales data and working closely with the business, transforming data into clear and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of business logic, profitability drivers, and economic relationships.
• Pedagogical and communicative – can easily explain complex analyses.
• Enjoys a hands-on role where the business is at the center and where you work closely with the operations.
• Initiative-taking, self-driven, and action-oriented.
• Has good structure and the ability to contribute to process development.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• We use (meritorious): Power BI, Cumulus BI, Tagetik (CPM), and IFS (ERP).
