Operations

Preschool is part of the Education Administration. We work for an equitable preschool where every child's right to education is in focus, clarifying professional roles and responsibilities for preschool teachers and childcare workers. Our vision is that the preschool should support every child regardless of their circumstances so that everyone has the opportunity to develop towards the goals. Our goal is to offer supportive learning in an inspiring and safe environment that meets the needs of the individual and society. With us, professional development and networking occur continuously. We have a comprehensive professional development plan and five study days per year. The Preschool Operations have their own special educators. All our preschools have work clothes for both indoor and outdoor use, part of our efforts to increase attendance in the operations.

The Karlslund unit consists of the three preschools Björkelund, Västra Lund, and Open Preschool.

The positions we are looking for are for the Västra Lund preschool.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a childcare worker, you are part of a team where you together create good conditions for education at the preschool. You are knowledgeable and understand the preschool curriculum and are responsible for ensuring that your work is carried out according to the responsibilities of the childcare worker role. You should be a resource in the child group, providing support where there are children with special needs together with the rest of the team.

As a childcare worker, you actively participate in the team's work to plan, document, and evaluate education, based on individual and group levels, and adapt and develop education according to the children's interests. You work to offer children safe care both physically and emotionally. You create good relationships with both children, guardians, and colleagues, and in meetings with guardians, you contribute to creating a trusting relationship with opportunities for interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Childcare worker education
• Experience working with children in need of special support.
• As a person, you are stable and secure in yourself, handle stress constructively, and maintain a good mood under pressure and adversity. You keep a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things.
