Job Description

We are now looking for a preschool teacher for Änglastämman preschool in Linköping. The position is temporary for 12-14 months.

About the Preschool

Änglastämman is centrally located in a large, pleasant building with a nice courtyard and proximity to excursion destinations. The preschool accommodates 28 children with two age-divided departments, 1-2 years and 3-5 years. You will work daily with your 5 colleagues, and from the start of your employment, you will receive good support and introduction to the work. The position is primarily located among our older children's department.

The preschool is a parent cooperative where you work closely with parents and the board. You are given a good opportunity to influence your work situation and implement your own ideas. In your daily work, there is plenty of time for both individual and joint planning/development with your colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

Teach in the preschool by contributing to the realization of the curriculum's goals and guidelines in the operations. Together with the work team, you will plan, implement, and document the children's development and learning.

You will, for example:

• plan, teach, and develop children's learning through educational themes.
• document, follow up, and ensure the integrity of the education.
• plan and conduct development talks with children and parents.
• daily create good relationships with parents and work for the child's best and safety.

The position suits you who enjoy collaborating and want to develop in your work role. You thrive with personal responsibility and are happy to take the initiative for development. The preschool's music profile means that we use music as a pedagogical tool to inspire children to develop imagination, language, and motor skills through music. However, there are no requirements for you to be able to play instruments or have a pronounced interest in music.

As a person, you are creative and like to contribute new ideas and thoughts to develop the operations. Furthermore, you enjoy collaborating with others and have a professional approach towards children, guardians, and colleagues. You are responsible and find joy in promoting children's learning.
