Who are we?

Komvux Norrköping has established itself at Bråvalla High School and now runs the industrial education in its own right in collaboration with the school, which is an educational center for vocational training. Komvux Norrköping will also start transport education at Bråvalla in 2026.

Bråvalla is a creative and modern school filled with the latest technology. The school has about 750 students in a wide range of vocational programs.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning and developing teaching for students' knowledge development in our industrial subjects, primarily in operational safety and maintenance, together with colleagues. This involves both theoretical and practical education.

You will be part of the ongoing development work together with the high school to provide our students with the best vocational education.

The work is conducted in teacher teams with responsibilities and authorities and a well-adapted assignment that should lead to increased engagement, efficiency, and dissemination of new pedagogical ideas.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma and broad experience in the industrial sector. We prefer that you are a trained vocational teacher in industry, but extensive education/experience in the field is also meritorious.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have good knowledge in operational safety and maintenance. You are accustomed to and confident in working with methods, working practices, and leading maintenance work.

It is also an advantage if you have been a mentor for APL students.

As a person, you are attentive and see each student and their individual needs. You create a good relationship with the students in your meetings.

We place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate, flexibility, and your professional competence. To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical and planning skills as well as a positive attitude.

You plan the teaching together with colleagues and enjoy passing on your knowledge and profession to the students at the school. You motivate others and create engagement and participation.

You are a knowledge resource and try to find new ways together with your colleagues to promote students' learning. You remain motivated despite setbacks.

You consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions, and you are particularly skilled at creating a good learning environment with peace and security for your students.

We see that you have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
