Who are we?

Vikbolandsskolan is located in a picturesque area on Vikbolandet, in a rural setting with strong local ties and proximity to the archipelago. Here, students from preschool to grade 9 attend, and the school is characterized by closeness between students and adults, great commitment, and ongoing development work. The upper school has three parallel classes with about 20 students in each class.

The school is in an exciting phase where we are systematically working to build long-term structures for safety, studies, and increased goal fulfillment. You will be an important part of this work.

Your tasks

We are looking for a qualified teacher to substitute for one of our employees who is on parental leave. You will be part of a team with grade 7 and be a mentor in one of the classes together with 2 other mentors. You will teach Swedish in grades 7-8, but share the assignment with an experienced colleague.

You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on our governing documents. You will be part of working groups and subject teams, collaborate with guardians, and contribute to the collegial learning at the school.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher and have qualifications to teach Swedish for grades 7-9. You are a secure and engaged teacher with broad pedagogical competence and a relational approach. If you have previous experience or a broad subject combination, we see it as an asset.

Furthermore, you enjoy working closely with students of different ages and see the value in creating structure, participation, and safety – both in the classroom and in collegial collaboration. You communicate clearly, adapt your language to the audience, and ensure that all students understand.

You are also accustomed to meeting challenging students and have the ability to create good relationships and teaching that meets students' diverse needs. You coach students and provide support that develops their potential. You persevere through challenges and work purposefully despite obstacles.
