Business Developer at the Swedish Companies Registration Office

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now strengthening our work with two driven business developers for our crime prevention department.

The department is under construction, and as an employee, you have the opportunity to be part of the change journey that the authority has begun.

As a business developer in our crime prevention department, you will work to drive and lead the development of the Swedish Companies Registration Office's operations based on customer and operational needs with a crime prevention holistic perspective.

The department consists of five units: two control units, two units for company liquidation, and one unit that works on building a coordinated register control in connection with procurement.

The positions are located at one of the control units and one of the units for company liquidation. As a business developer, you may also have assignments in other units within the department.

As a business developer with us, you will:

  • lead and coordinate development assignments, from exploratory phases to implementation, including IT development
  • be responsible for the overall implementation of assignments - from preparing decision materials and planning to resource and competence assurance
  • collaborate with other authorities to develop common methods, working practices, and regulatory applications within the crime prevention area
  • drive and implement business and service development in agile teams with various competencies such as business specialists, business and IT architects, lawyers, and developers
  • actively work with innovation in business and service development
  • contribute to the unit's tactical and operational forums and work with the unit's needs in line with the vision of the Swedish Companies Registration Office

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for someone who is:

  • structured; you organize and plan your work well, work methodically, and meet deadlines
  • results-oriented; you set goals and can change direction based on those goals. You take initiative and start activities needed to achieve results
  • confident; you are a person of integrity. You stand firm in your own opinions and in the execution of your assignments
  • solution-oriented; you quickly find solutions to emerging problems and open up to new perspectives

You also need to have a high degree of flexibility, collaboration skills, and initiative to drive your assignments.

In this role, you need to have:

  • an academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, law, social sciences, or systems science) or equivalent knowledge and experience deemed relevant by the employer
  • several years of current experience in leading, driving, and implementing business development within government or the public sector
  • experience in developing various working methods and leading different types of change processes
  • experience working as a requirements setter for development teams focused on IT, for example as a product owner
  • experience with agile working methods
  • very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically to different target groups, both orally and in writing

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

  • experience working according to changed legal requirements and legal assessments
  • experience in service design or similar design and development work focusing on user experience
