You will be part of an area consisting of international maintenance support and the EU family benefits. The area consists of about 200 employees, of which nearly half currently work with international maintenance support.

Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace
As a unit manager, you are the manager who is closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and give your employees the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.

Your unit consists of 15-20 employees who work with international maintenance support focused on the Nordic region and are located in Stockholm. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of the context, direction, and the target images the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you are a support for the area manager and you are part of the area's management group, which consists of 14 employees where you contribute with your competence and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

  • have experience of leadership in similar operations
  • have experience of the relevant insurance, international maintenance support
  • have experience of operational leadership
  • have experience in production management of case handling
  • have a good understanding of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mission
  • have experience of coaching leadership and leading through change
  • have experience of leading teams
  • have experience of leading remotely
  • have experience of planning your operations in collaboration with colleagues at a distance.

A position, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
