The National Cyber Security Center, NCSC, is looking for unit managers to participate in building the center's operations at FRA. Your Mission

As a unit manager, you will belong to the NCSC department at FRA. The department is newly established at FRA and is currently under development. The unit has recently been established and has significant development and expansion goals, giving you considerable opportunities to grow and influence in the role.

As a unit manager at NCSC, you will lead the unit and collaborate within cyber security. Your main tasks include:

• Providing employees with the right conditions through access to the right tools and information
• Having overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, and budget
• Developing and motivating your employees and being responsible for competence supply and development
• Recruiting staff
• Coordinating operational development within the unit individually and in collaboration with other managers

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in political science, computer science, or another relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.
• Many years of experience in a managerial position
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Training in Leadership and Cyber Security
• Experience in a leading position within the cyber security field
• Technical knowledge in cyber security
• A valid driver's license (B)

• Relationship Building: Is outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. Creates contacts and maintains relationships.

The mission of NCSC is to develop and strengthen Sweden's ability to prevent, detect, and manage cyber threats. Currently, NCSC is in an expansive development phase where you have the opportunity to help build a central contact point for Sweden's cyber security. Since 2024, NCSC has been part of FRA.

More Information

The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. In a few years, new premises will be ready in Bergshamra. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a military position.
