Experienced Payroll Administrator with Economic Interest

We are now looking, on behalf of our client, for an experienced payroll administrator who also wants to contribute within finance. This is a role for you who want to work in an organization that makes a real difference for people and appreciates having a broad area of responsibility with both payroll and financial tasks.

About the Role

As a payroll administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that the entire payroll process runs smoothly, correctly, and in accordance with applicable laws and agreements. You work through the entire process – from reporting of data to control, calculation, and payment. The assignment also includes providing support to managers and employees on issues related to salary, employment, absence, and benefits. An important part of the job is to ensure high quality in reporting to authorities, insurance companies, and pension institutions.

In addition to payroll administration, you support the finance department with ongoing tasks. This may involve work with accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, payments, expenses, and bookkeeping. You also contribute to the work leading up to the financial closing and other financial summaries. The role involves close collaboration with both HR and finance, giving you good insight into the organization as a whole and the opportunity to influence routines and working methods.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with education in payroll, finance, or equivalent experience, and who has worked independently with payroll processes for several years. You have good knowledge of laws, agreements, and regulations related to salary, vacation, pension, and insurance. Experience with Agda PS, as well as good knowledge of Excel and other Office programs. If you have previously worked in a smaller organization or in a labor-intensive business, it is an advantage, especially if you have combined payroll work with tasks in finance.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured with a genuine interest in order and quality. You are confident in your skills but also unpretentious and helpful when needed. To thrive in the role, you need to be independent and take responsibility for your tasks, but at the same time be able to collaborate and communicate easily with others. You have a service-oriented approach and enjoy providing support to both colleagues and managers.

About the Assignment

The position is a consulting assignment via Jurek with a start as soon as possible and an initial period of six months. For the right person, there is an opportunity for permanent employment with the client after the assignment is completed. The workplace is located in southern Stockholm, in an organization with short decision-making paths, a strong value base, and a great commitment to its mission.
