Eye Clinic

The Eye Clinic is the only eye care facility in Region Jämtland Härjedalen and is constantly expanding. We take care of the entire spectrum of eye care, including surgery. The number of visits per year is approximately 30,000, and we are over 50 employees in total.

Today we are 12 medical secretaries and are now looking for someone who wants friendly colleagues and the opportunity for a flexible workplace.

We have an open work climate where everyone is important and involved in driving the eye clinic, and we value everyone's competencies. Together we are each other's work environment, and with us work ophthalmologists, ophthalmic nurses, orthoptists, optometrists, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, resident doctors, and nurses. We work weekdays during the day between 7:30 AM and 4:15 PM.

Our strengths at the eye clinic are that you can develop at your own pace, you don't feel stupid when you ask questions, and we are colleagues who support each other. We are involved in operational development and have varied tasks that help us grow in our professional roles.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We have a wide variety of tasks.

We manage time logs and book appointments for doctors, nurses, and orthoptists. We handle referrals, mail, and send medical record copies. Medical documentation in the form of reception notes, surgical reports, diagnosis classification, and sending specialist care referrals are some of our tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated healthcare administrator/medical secretary, preferably with experience working in Cosmic.

You will be employed in the Division of Surgery, where several clinics/units exist, including the eye area. Your primary placement will be in the Eye area but may change based on the needs of the division.
