We are now looking for a support assistant for temporary employment at Skarpnäcksgården F-house, Skarpnäck.

Your mission

In the role of support assistant, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

About Skarpnäcksgården F-house  

Nytida Skarpnäcksgården F-House is a home for care or accommodation, an HVB, located in Skarpnäck south of Stockholm. The goal is for the individual to feel safe at F-house and for us to strengthen the individual's opportunities to live as independently and functionally as possible.

F-House caters to adults aged 20 and above, regardless of gender. We cater to individuals with:

• Ongoing substance abuse
• Dependence on drugs or alcohol
• Homelessness issues
• Mental health issues

We work based on the assignment we receive and the individual’s needs. The individual and the client are involved throughout the process. This can involve providing support in various ways, such as:

• Establishing or maintaining contact with healthcare and/or psychiatry
• Providing support regarding medication treatment
• Establishing a weekly schedule for personal hygiene, laundry, and cleaning
• Supporting and assisting the individual regarding finances
• Motivating participation in activities that feel meaningful
• Taking care of wounds or other specific care needs

We adapt the work based on the target group and the individual.

Your experience and knowledge 

We expect you, who are applying to us, to:   • have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people • be responsible and have personal maturity • enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues 

You should have at least a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. You should have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow. You need to have a B driver's license.
