Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

Do you want to make a difference in someone else's life? We are now looking for substitutes as personal assistants for a wonderful 15-year-old boy with the muscle disease SMA. He lives with his family just outside Stenungsund and needs your help during the absence of regular staff - both day and night shifts are available.

About the role

As a substitute in the role of personal assistant, you are an important part of the boy's daily life. You are there when he needs you - at home, with friends, on outings, trips, or during hospital visits. You assist him with physical needs such as hygiene, transfers, training, and other daily tasks. You need to be flexible, attentive, and have a calm and supportive presence.

Working hours:

Day shifts: 07:00-19:00
Night shifts: 19:00-07:00
You will be booked as needed, for example, during illness, leave, or other gaps in the regular schedule.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is responsible, caring, and flexible. You find it easy to build trust and feel comfortable working closely with another person. Previous experience is not a requirement - we place the greatest emphasis on personal chemistry and commitment.

Requirements:

• You speak and understand Swedish fluently.
• You have a B driver's license and access to your own car.
• You are smoke-free.
