Your Workplace

As a system administrator, you will be based at the municipality's central office, but you will work with all systems within the municipality's support and staff functions. There are four other system administrators in the municipality who are placed in other sectors.

The office is responsible for document and case management, archives, as well as case preparation and administrative support for all municipal committees, the municipal executive board, and the municipal council. The office is also responsible for organizing elections, GDPR coordination, and providing legal support to the municipality's other operations, management, and political organization.

You will be located in the municipal building in Mölnlycke, which is 15 minutes from the center of Gothenburg.

Your Mission

The system administration of Härryda municipality is based on the pm3 model with annual management plans and clear roles within both operations and IT. The model provides conditions for clarity, simplicity, uniformity, and feasibility. The work is based on forums for collaboration and a common culture for the management teams.

As a system administrator with us, you are a key person in the work of managing and developing the operational systems for our support functions and staff units. You will collaborate closely with the IT function and be the unifying force between them, the operations, and system suppliers. Your role is crucial for us to have systems that support the needs of the operations and contribute to an efficient and forward-looking organization. Your closest colleague in the IT function is a system administrator for IT who is responsible for the technical aspects of the systems you manage. This allows you to focus entirely on the operational perspective.

Härryda municipality is in an exciting phase regarding operational development and how AI can support the operations.

We offer an exciting and varied role where you can combine strategic work with operational implementation. In practice, the role includes developing and following up management plans for existing systems, mapping and developing information security, and assisting the operations in their continuity planning. You play an important role in the entire process of acquiring new systems, from needs inventory, through requirements specification and procurement to implementation and commissioning.

Requirements for the Position

We are looking for someone who

• has a post-secondary education or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• has experience working within a municipality or authority
• has experience in system administration
• preferably has experience in project management (meritorious)
• preferably has experience in public operations (meritorious)
• has a very good ability to express themselves in Swedish, both orally and in writing

To obtain employment, a certificate from the police's criminal record must be presented.
