Within the individual and family care services, open care and authority exercise for children, youth, adults, and the elderly are included, and social services are divided into different units/responsibility areas. Each unit has a unit manager and one or two senior social workers who can provide support to employees in the case management process. We have built close cooperation with partners both within and outside the unit, which contributes to making a difference for those we work with and for. With a focus on people, efforts are implemented through assistance to individuals who have various needs for help and support in their daily lives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two social workers within individual and family care services, IFO, for the assistance unit. One of the positions focuses on LSS/social psychiatry, and the other position focuses on care and support.

The unit consists of 14 social workers, senior social workers, and a unit manager. The assistance unit consists of an experienced and knowledgeable workgroup where cooperation and teamwork are fundamental to our working method.

As a social worker, you will handle applications and assess needs, provide information, make decisions, and follow up on efforts for those entitled to assistance under the Social Services Act (SoL) or LSS. In your role, you will meet individuals with disabilities and seniors who have various forms of support needs in their daily lives. We also regularly meet relatives and guardians. We collaborate with service providers such as home care, special accommodations, various interventions in the implementation of LSS, other social services, authorities, and healthcare.

The work involves a high degree of authority exercise with demands for legal security, a common approach, and equivalent assessments. With your knowledge and a good attitude, you ensure that the individuals you meet receive the help and support they need to live a good and independent life like others.

We are looking for social workers who are curious and engaged in the changing working methods that are underway with the new Social Services Act. With us, you will have a stimulating and responsible job, with great opportunities to influence, as well as access to method and process supervision.

We use the documentation system Procapita/Life Care, and the assistance unit has worked based on IBIC for several years. The assignment includes managing the care planning system SAMSA. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. For the position in care and support, you need to have experience in case management according to the Social Services Act (SoL). For the position aimed at disabilities and social psychiatry, you need to have experience in case management according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and preferably also according to the Social Services Act. Since the positions involve administrative work, you need to have a good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

To fit the role, you need to be meticulous, structured, and efficient with your time. You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to ensure it is carried out well, keeping both users, relatives, and your workgroup in mind.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience as a social worker, as well as experience in documentation according to IBIC and in the operational systems Life Care and SAMSA. For the position in LSS/social psychiatry, experience in handling the assistance measure personal assistance is advantageous.

For the assignment as a social worker, we are looking for someone who sees opportunities for beneficial changes and contributes to creating situations where new ideas and proposals can be developed. You work transparently and inclusively towards both the workgroup and the manager and unit manager, and you are active in motivating others and have the ability to communicate changes in a pedagogical and constructive manner.
