We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Business Controller who wants to step into a qualified consulting assignment with an organization that has significant investments, complex projects, and important societal missions. Here, you will combine strategic and operational work, contribute to the development of governance and reporting, and provide important support in both line organization and operational projects.

About the assignment

The work includes both daily controller support and long-term development of processes, tools, and working methods. You will work closely with an existing Business Controller but will be responsible for your own deliveries. The assignment includes planning, follow-up, forecasts, analyses, decision-making materials, and improvement work within governance and reporting.

Your tasks

• Deliver high-quality decision-making materials and analyses
• Participate in planning, follow-up, and forecasting work
• Work with reporting to management and steering groups
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and working methods
• Develop structures, KPIs, and documentation
• Contribute to improved governance and reporting models

Requirements

• Relevant higher education in economics or finance
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Controller/Financial Controller in a complex organization
• 2+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management
• Experience in decision-making materials and reporting for management level
• Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Desirable experiences

• Experience in business development and driving improvement initiatives
• Comfortable working at the interface between line, project, and portfolio, as well as supporting governance and management groups
• Familiarity with working in systems such as UBW/Agresso, Antura, or similar
• Experience from a government agency or other regulated activity with clear decision-making paths and documentation requirements

Start: January 6, 2026 End: February 28, 2027 (Possibility for extension until February 28, 2029)

Location: Sundbyberg Scope: 100 % Remote: Up to 25 % Travel: May occur (domestic and/or international)
