Job Responsibilities

As a specialist physician, your tasks will primarily focus on patient work at the health center, but work with child health care and special accommodations may also be relevant. You will also mentor our training physicians. In your interactions with patients, you will work both independently and in a team with other professionals at the health center. Improvement work for the entire health center is an important part of daily work to adapt care for the future. Our work is based on a common value foundation and is permeated by the fact that we are all, first and foremost, each other's colleagues and work environment.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-operated health centers in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with a civil servant board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future's primary care needs.

Närvården Bäckby is a growing health center, and we have a branch in Råby. We are responsible for over 11,200 registered patients, and our unit includes medical and district nurse clinics, several types of specialist clinics, maternal and child health care, as well as a rehabilitation unit with physiotherapists and a social worker. Great emphasis is placed on preventive work where the lifestyle clinic is the hub, and we also offer help with risk use and addiction issues. Long-term planning for continuity and stability for patients, where our rehabilitation coordinator is an important part of the team to help patients move on to meaningful lives as much as possible.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine and is well acquainted with work in primary care. You preferably have previous experience and an interest in mentoring. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and additional language skills are considered an asset. Experience with the Cosmic journal system is meritorious.

In your role as a general practitioner, you lead and mentor others through a respectful and positive approach. You see opportunities instead of obstacles. You collaborate easily with others and take responsibility for what you do. As a person, you are flexible and solution-focused. You are empathetic and driven by a desire to help and meet needs; you see the individual. If you recognize yourself in this, then you are the one we are looking for! Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
