Job Responsibilities

The Upper Gastro Section works with diagnoses related to esophagus/stomach, liver/pancreas, and bariatric surgery.

As a nurse here, you will work both independently and in a team. You will be present during difficult news and be the patient's contact and support throughout the care chain. The work also involves planning and booking appointments and providing telephone advice.

In the work surrounding bariatric surgery, you, as a nurse, along with dietitians, have a central role with this patient group. You will have your own outpatient visits where you assess patients prior to bariatric surgery and follow up afterward. You will work with booking, planning, telephone advice, and some administrative handling.

The surgical outpatient clinic's operations are large, broad, and specialized. There are different teams working with various focuses. The team for Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery is now looking for a new colleague.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with a couple of years of experience in your profession. You have computer skills with experience and knowledge of the journal data system Cosmic. Good verbal and written skills in the Swedish language are a prerequisite for ensuring patient-safe care.

Experience working in outpatient care and/or with surgical patients is an advantage.

As a person, you are confident and take responsibility for your tasks. You have a positive attitude towards your work, high flexibility, and a good ability to prioritize. You share our value of always putting the patient at the center and place great importance on creating good meetings. You are meticulous, organized, and believe it is important to do a good job. You find it easy to collaborate and have the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, full-time. Daytime Monday - Friday. Start date according to agreement.
