We are looking for a theater leader for our children and youth activities at the Aktiv Ungdom Malmö association for the spring term of 2026.

The position involves teaching approximately 2-4 hours/week. This is a part-time position for work on weekday evenings and/or Saturdays during a 10-12 week period with a break for autumn break. The assignment is for spring 2026, approximately September-December. The positions are at various locations around Malmö (Limhamn, Hyllie, Kirseberg, etc.).

We have a theater and musical school for children from about 5 years old up to around 16 years old.

We are looking for someone who:

• is passionate about theater and/or musicals and wants to share their knowledge with others.
• is a social person who can create community and safety for all children and young people, as well as for their parents/adults.
• enjoys development, both in themselves and in their students.
• is self-sufficient, as you will be solely responsible during your theater lesson, including everything from opening/locking/alarming the venue to taking attendance, etc.

We consider it essential that you have participated in and/or worked in theater activities, been part of a theater/musical group, and possibly have some training. If you also have experience working with children, that is an advantage.

The Aktiv Ungdom association in Malmö is a children and youth association with cultural activities for children and young people in the areas of dance, theater, musical, and art school. Our ideology and working method focus on age-appropriate activities and emphasize the social aspect within the group. We also recognize the importance of developing both the group and each student's progress, but without an elitist mindset. We also offer various workshops, holiday activities, and events throughout the year.

We put on a smaller theater performance every term, where all students have the opportunity to participate.
