The Health and Care Administration is now seeking a female personal assistant!

Personal assistance works with the goal of creating security, self-determination, and quality of life for the person we work for. Our mission is to provide the support needed for the person to live as independently and meaningfully as possible – on their own terms.

Your tasks

As a personal assistant, your primary goal is to provide support in a way that strengthens the user's self-determination, security, and quality of life. You are there to enable, be attentive, respectful, and present.

The tasks are performed in the user's home, and you are available to provide support in both daily routines and special needs. Your tasks may include:

• Personal care such as assistance with hygiene, toilet visits, dressing and undressing
• Transfers using aids
• Communication and companionship, being a reassuring presence and support in social contexts
• Activities inside and outside the home, such as walks, outings, or errands
• Cleaning and household chores related to the user's needs
• Documentation and following routines for good quality and safety
• Your work is always based on the user's needs and wishes, and you are an important part of creating security, participation, and quality of life

Who you are

We are looking for a woman due to the nature of the tasks. You have a high school diploma and previous experience in care work. We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or have another education that may be relevant for the assignment. You have the ability to work with other people by listening, showing empathy, and respect. You are good at creating and maintaining relationships and collaborate well with others in different functions. We see that you can quickly learn new things, are good at absorbing new information, and encourage organizational learning. A B driver's license is a requirement as the position involves transfers within the municipality.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment with a scope of 95%. A probationary period may be applicable.
