Administrative Coordinator for Saxnäs and Dikanäs Educational Activities

Do you want to work close to mountains, lakes, and forests - in an environment where nature and community are an obvious part of everyday life? We are now looking for an engaged and self-driven administrator for our mountain schools in the lively villages of Saxnäs and Dikanäs, about 10 miles from Vilhelmina.

About the position

You will be a central part of the operations and the one who keeps the flow of daily work together – our spider in the web. The position covers Saxnäs and Dikanäs mountain school. The work is varied and combines administrative, coordinating, and service-oriented tasks.

Your main tasks

• Be the administrative hub of the operations and support for students, staff, and the principal.
• Manage scheduling, reporting, and follow-up in close collaboration with the principal.
• Compile materials for the Sami School Board and Statistics Sweden.
• Be responsible for communication and administration in Quiculum (absences, grades, contact with guardians and staff).
• Handle payroll and working time administration in the payroll system (Besched).
• Order materials, keep order in the library, and coordinate school transports.
• Assist in remote teaching in languages (German and Spanish) and cover as a playground supervisor or substitute when needed.

You have excellent computer skills and are used to taking your own initiatives and driving things to completion. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

About Vilhelmina

Vilhelmina can be described as a 5-minute community. It may be a bit far from larger cities, but once you are there, most things are within reach. In five minutes, you can pick up children from preschool, go to work, hit the gym after work, or take your skis/running shoes in the illuminated tracks, and eat at one of the local cafes and restaurants. In the mountains, there are facilities that are open during tourist seasons and year-round, and also proximity to some of the larger ski slopes in Kittelfjäll and Klimpfjäll.
