About the workplace:

With us, four employees work with a shared responsibility for the municipality's overall accounting and the municipality's coordinating functions within the economic area. The unit is part of the Municipal Executive Office and is responsible for the entire central accounting process as well as planning and leading the work in the civil servant organization, in budget and follow-up processes.

We are now looking for a new colleague to our team who wants to contribute to developing our unit and the service we provide to the group and our citizens.

Job responsibilities:

In your role as a controller, you will be responsible for accounting and follow-up of operations against administration and companies. You provide guidance and support to budget managers/executives/CEOs regarding budgets, follow-ups, forecasts, and year-end closings. You are responsible for the preparation of the Annual Report and Interim Financial Statements. You have the ability to communicate in a pedagogical manner and continuously educate and support managers in the economic process. You contribute to promoting a positive work climate in the workplace, and your work should be characterized by professionalism and commitment. Together with other economists, you participate in ongoing change work within accounting, plan interim and annual closing work, and work with financial summaries.

Competence/qualifications:

You have a university degree in economics and several years of work experience.

The work involves many contact points with both politicians and civil servants, which requires collaboration skills and flexibility. A good communication ability in Swedish, both spoken and written, and an analytical ability are other personal qualities that are valued.

To succeed in the assignment, you have:

• previously worked with qualified economic work

• experience working in economic systems, Excel, and generally high IT proficiency

• experience from ongoing accounting work including work with interim and annual reports

• good experience in communicating and presenting financial information

We would like you to have experience working with economics within the municipality.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Duration/working hours:

Temporary position 100%

Start as soon as possible according to agreement
