Treatment Secretary for the Youth Family Team
We are proud of Trollhättan municipality's over 5,000 employees, who make a positive difference in our residents' lives every day and contribute to the city's sustainability and vitality. We are driven and motivated by the guiding principles of Courage, Participation, Innovation, and Action. Here, there is an exciting development where you can help make our city even better.
About the Organization
We are looking for a stable and collaborative treatment secretary for a temporary position in the Youth Family Team, a working group within Trollhättan municipality's Family Team Unit.
The unit is part of the Preventive and Interventions area together with several other service providers. We work with support and change efforts for young people and their families, striving to strengthen, coordinate, and highlight important factors such as family, school, and employment to achieve long-term positive changes.
Our workplace is the centrally located Family House, where about 35 employees work in four teams with different focuses, all under the leadership of a team leader. We are proud to be HBTQi-certified and actively work to create an inclusive and safe environment for everyone.
Job Responsibilities
In the role of treatment secretary, you will create tailored solutions based on the needs of individuals and families, both through needs-based interventions and interventions without needs assessment. With the new Social Services Act, we now have the opportunity to engage families at an earlier stage with more interventions. We always strive to offer the right intervention at the right time.
The conversation is central and takes place both with colleagues and individually. Supporting the entire network around the individual is an important factor in creating sustainable change. We use FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment) to systematically follow up on our interventions. As a complement to treatment interventions, drug and alcohol tests can be conducted if necessary.
The work is primarily conducted during daytime hours, with some evening work as well. As a new employee, you will be offered a mentor and continuous professional development opportunities. We care about your health and offer flexible working hours, wellness grants, wellness hours, and other benefits through the employee association Rabatten.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, trained social pedagogue, or another higher education of at least 180 higher education credits that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in treatment work with people in vulnerable life situations, preferably with a focus on domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health issues, neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF), and social change work.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have the ability to convey security and stability to young people, parents, colleagues, and partners. You have good documentation skills, are resilient under stress, and can make quick decisions. We value an open and clear communication style as well as a flexible and solution-focused approach. A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position. Personal suitability is of great importance.
Employment Information
The position is a temporary contract starting on January 8, 2026, or as agreed, and extends until December 31, 2026. Would you like to make a difference in the lives of young people? Then you are warmly welcome to apply.
