The Municipal Executive Office operates on behalf of the municipal council. We lead, manage, support, and follow up to ensure that the entire municipality is run efficiently and effectively. We are approximately 400 employees distributed across five departments. In everything we do, we start from the premise that it should benefit those who live, visit, or work in the municipality.

Huddinge Municipality is currently the owner and operator of an extensive municipal fiber network that spans the entire municipality. This means that the municipality is one of the largest players in the fiber market, even compared to the private sector.

For continued expansion and management of the existing network, we are now looking for an experienced fiber designer who wants to help develop, build, and manage Huddinge Municipality's internal fiber network.

You will be part of our fiber management group Fiber together with our network owner.

Examples of areas you will work with:

• Development of future networks / Upgrading of existing networks.
• Design of fiber networks (including excavation design, etc.). As a client, lead ordered and designed projects towards contractors.
• Land issues/Customer issues
• Coordination (utility coordination) in the municipality's expansion projects.
• Quality assurance
• Existing network (operation and maintenance) (management).
• Connection production
• Management of utility checks.
• Documentation such as documentation of expanded networks and expanded facilities, splice plans.
• Coordination

Your profile

We are looking for someone with an academic education or equivalent in a relevant field. You have solid technical skills and several years of experience in designing fiber networks where cable relocations, excavation design, land issues/customer issues, and utility coordination have been important parts of your work tasks.

You are experienced in AutoCad or Microstation and have good computer skills. As a person, you are flexible and have an easy time collaborating.

You have an opportunity-oriented approach and a desire to contribute to change and development. Since collaboration is very important, you are attentive, clear, and communicative, and you are not afraid to take initiative where needed.

Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in the Swedish language.
