Prenax is the only subscription agent and procurement partner covering three areas: specialist expertise in the corporate, academic, and public sectors, with a global team possessing extensive knowledge and experience in integrating clients' various business systems. With Prenax's service, the customer has a contact for their indirect purchases such as subscriptions and memberships.

Responsibilities and tasks as a Senior Accountant Prenax offers an exciting Nordic accounting role, where the individual will work with the company's branches in the Nordics. The role is broad and includes everything from ongoing accounting to participation in reporting, budget and forecast processes, tax, and more complex accounting technical issues. You will work closely with the Nordic CFO and together maintain good control, compliance, and efficient work processes.

You will work with:

  • Monthly/year-end closings
  • Involved in reporting to the parent company
  • Reporting to authorities
  • Auditing and preparation of annual reports and declarations
  • Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
  • Currency revaluation and currency trading
  • Assisting in budget and forecasting work
  • VAT management including Nordic VAT management (accounting, triangular trade, intrastat, periodic summary, reporting to authorities)
  • Involved in tax-related issues
  • Involved in branch structure issues
  • Participating and driving various ongoing improvement projects within the department, e.g., related to internal control, efficiency, and improvements in the business system.

Experience and qualifications We prefer that you have at least 5 years of experience in accounting. You have an academic degree in finance or similar and possess very good skills in both Swedish and English.

As a person, you enjoy being in a changing environment and are driven by development. You are responsible and work in a structured manner. Furthermore, you thrive in a role as part of a team while being comfortable working independently and without prestige.

  • Extent: Full-time.
  • Start: By agreement - selection is ongoing.
  • Opportunity to work remotely 1 day a week.
  • Permanent employment with an initial probationary period.
  • Location: Kista.
