Expression of Interest for Newly Graduated Dental Hygienists

This expression of interest is aimed at you who are a newly graduated dental hygienist and want to show interest in working at Folktandvården Stockholm.

A Safe Start in Your Career as a Dental Hygienist

With us, you will receive a solid and professional introduction to the dental hygienist profession. Among other things, we give you the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, such as your ability to assess patients and their symptoms. You will receive clinical guidance from an experienced colleague, with a focus on dentistry and teamwork. Additionally, you will further develop structured working methods and business thinking.

You will receive:

  • Clinical guidance from an experienced colleague
  • Training and development opportunities from the start
  • Support in setting individual goals for your development
  • A broad experience through varied patient demographics
  • A secure employment in an organization that invests in our employees

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has graduated or will graduate as a dental hygienist in 2025/2026
  • Has a genuine interest in providing high-quality dental care
  • Communicates well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Personal qualities such as commitment, attentiveness, and curiosity are highly valued – these are traits we know lead to both professional and personal development.

With us, there are opportunities for:

  • Scheduled weekend work with extra weekend compensation
  • Salary supplements for clinics in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas
  • Location supplements in Norrtälje and Nynäshamn after one year of employment
  • Generous wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK

In the long term, there are also good opportunities for further development, for example as a clinic manager, team leader, and niche dental hygienist. There is also the possibility to mentor newly graduated dental hygienists for an extra fee.

  1. When you apply, you will answer selection questions to help us get a picture of you and thus make the selection process easier.
  2. Once you have applied, you will complete a personality analysis and a problem-solving test, which you can do from home.
  3. The clinics interested in proceeding with your application will contact you to schedule an interview.
  4. At the end of our recruitment process, we will take references. If you have worked with us before, we will take references from your former manager.

We are, of course, very happy that you want to work with us. However, we unfortunately cannot take everyone further in the process, as we have a limited recruitment need. We will keep you updated via email.

Employment

Welcome with your application by December 7, 2025. The position is a permanent employment/temporary position full-time, with a start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Before the interview, you need to verify your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid work permit or documentation showing that you are exempt from the requirement. To be considered for employment, a successful new hire investigation is also required.
