We are looking for an additional psychologist for our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) operations in Hötorget. Here you will have the opportunity to work with a broad and varied patient group, ranging from neuropsychiatric assessments to treatment of children.

The premises are centrally located by Hötorget with immediate proximity to the city.

The role We are now seeking a licensed psychologist with experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. Your tasks will include psychological treatment and neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents. Since we are a relatively newly established clinic, you will also play an important role in the work to further develop the operations.

A week at work A week with us is often varied. Some days you will work closely with a patient in a neuropsychiatric assessment, where one of the days may be from home with family interviews and reports. Other days you will meet your ongoing patients for treatment, support conversations, parental support, or other interventions. This is interspersed with new patient visits where you make an initial assessment, either of psychiatric issues or whether the patient should be recommended for a neuropsychiatric assessment. Then you will present a complex case at the treatment conference and receive help to move forward, and you will also provide tips, advice, and perspectives on your colleagues' cases. You will identify needs in the operations and take responsibility for further developing an initiative. Someone else may have an idea that you agree to start testing. Finally, you will have coffee and talk about various topics, helping each other to tidy up.

About you

Requirements for employment

• Licensed psychologist with at least 3 years of work experience
• Experience in neuropsychiatric assessments
• Experience in psychological treatment

Meritorious

• Focus on CBT
• At least 5 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatric treatment
• Interest in operational and business development

Personal qualities - to thrive in this role, you should be:

• Confident in your role as a psychologist and accustomed to meeting patients independently
• Used to adapting interventions for patients based on care level and individual needs
• Willing to conduct both assessments and treatments
• Flexible and open to taking on new tasks and changing work methods - such as leading groups/lectures and updating routines as needed
• Have good basic computer skills and the ability to switch between technical systems
• Good communication skills
