We are now looking for a specialist physician for ASIH in Barkarby

As a specialist physician with us at ASIH (Advanced Home Care), you will play a central role in providing and developing high-quality care. You will work in a team-based context where you lead a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the care of patients at home.

Your role includes:

• Providing care at the end of life and alleviating symptoms to achieve the highest possible quality of life for patients.
• Developing care quality and promoting team collaboration.
• Supervising residents.
• Documentation in the Take Care journal system and planning in the Alfa Welfare tool.
• The patient group includes, among others, cancer, hematological diseases, COPD, heart failure, and patients with multiple conditions, as well as patients with temporary conditions requiring advanced medical treatments such as infusions.

Your qualifications

• Specialist physician with any patient-centered specialty and an interest in home care and palliative care.
• Knowledge of, or a strong interest in, pain and symptom relief.
• Experience in end-of-life care and difficult conversations with patients and relatives is an advantage.
• Certification or specialist competence in palliative medicine is a plus.
• Good collaboration skills and high personal suitability.

The position is permanent, full-time, with a start date by agreement.
