Description of the Organization

Haninge Municipality operates five care and nursing homes under its own management: Hagagården, Vallagården, Ros-Anders gård, Malmgården, and Terrassen.

The operations have varying focuses, including somatic care, dementia care, and short-term care, totaling 245 care places.

The work within the department is characterized by modern working methods, high competence, and the use of the latest welfare technology. We work with the individual in focus - the elderly should feel comfortable with us and experience that their individual needs are met in an environment characterized by community, safety, and warmth.

All operations have close collaboration and a common platform with overarching routines and working methods. Staffing is coordinated continuously between the operations based on current resources and needs.

Your Mission:

We are now looking for nurses for the summer of 2026 who will work in all care and nursing homes under our own management.

Your placement will vary based on current needs.

We offer you a stimulating job during the day with working hours from Monday to Friday. You will receive good conditions for your assignment through a structured introduction in our operations together with our experienced nurses.

As a nurse, you will lead the daily nursing work in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, and other relevant professionals and actors.

  • You will have close collaboration with the responsible medical organization and follow up on the residents' health status together with doctors and take the prescribed actions.
  • You will plan, lead, and follow up on the work conducted within your area of expertise.
  • You will guide and educate colleagues to maintain relevant knowledge based on your profession.
  • You will be well-informed about the operations and follow up and investigate deviations within your area of expertise.
  • You will lead the structured work with risk assessments and follow up on them.

Your Competence

  • You are a licensed nurse who is confident in your professional role and has experience in elderly care.
  • You enjoy working in a team.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have very good social skills both in meeting with care recipients and in collaboration with colleagues.
  • You are engaged, flexible, and see opportunities rather than obstacles.
  • You have digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions.
  • We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is an advantage.

As a person, you are committed to working with the elderly and understand the importance of having good collaboration with colleagues. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues. You are responsible and self-driven and can adapt your working methods to the situation.
