M77 is an acute psychiatric inpatient unit within Psychiatry Southwest, where we care for patients with all common diagnoses. M77 is one of five inpatient units where collaboration defines our work. Here, a competent team consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors works together.

The Assignment

As Deputy Head of Nursing Unit, you will work daytime hours Monday to Friday and have an independent and systematic responsibility for the operations together with the unit management. You play an important role in ensuring operational control, quality, and continuity in the operations. The Deputy Head of Nursing Unit has a close-to-operation assignment with, among other things, responsibility for implementing care development, introducing new staff, coordinating scheduling together with staffing, and ensuring that employees complete mandatory training initiatives. You are expected to contribute actively and strategically to both care quality and operational development. Up to 50% of the position may involve clinical work in the operations, by agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Operational and development responsibility
  • Independently identify development areas and drive improvement work from analysis to implementation and follow-up. Work strategically with care quality, structure, and working methods.
  • You ensure that the unit's working methods are used and function in practice, for example Safewards, person-centered care, documentation, and central structures in daily work. In case of deficiencies, you identify causes, propose solutions, and drive actions forward.
  • You are a present leader who creates structure, clarity, and engagement in the work group.

We are looking for you who

Are a licensed nurse with previous experience of leadership or a clear interest in leadership and aptitude for quality assurance and development. We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy taking responsibility and driving work independently. You have good communication skills and create engagement in the work group.

Qualifications and Requirements

Licensed nurse with experience in psychiatric care; we prefer that you are a specialist in psychiatry. Previous experience of leadership and change management is an asset. Great personal commitment and ability to work in a structured and flexible manner. Experience of working in Heroma and other system supports is an asset. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Good communication skills are a requirement.

Employment Type

The employment is a permanent position as a nurse with a time-limited assignment as deputy manager.
