We are currently seeking a Dietitian for a permanent position at our clinic on Ekerö.
Do you want to join our fantastic team on beautiful Ekerö? The clinic is located on Ekerö, one of our islands in the Mälaren archipelago. Ekerö is approximately 15 minutes by bus from Brommaplan or 15 minutes by car via Ekeröleden from Slagsta.
With us, you have the opportunity to work with clinic duties, home rehabilitation, and partially remotely from home when the operations allow.

Our work is characterized by enthusiasm and great commitment! At Ekerö Rehab, besides dietitians, occupational therapists and physiotherapists also work. We are a medium-sized group of 10 people.
Rehab Västra is an independent business unit within Stockholm County Council's Healthcare Area (SLSO) with a mandate to provide primary care rehabilitation (basic assignment) as well as an additional assignment for neuroteams in outpatient care. Our clinics are located in Bromma, Ekerö, Kista, and Spånga, and together we are about 70 employees, of whom 7 are dietitians. Job Responsibilities:
The dietitian in Primary Care Rehabilitation meets patients of all ages. You will work with patients who have lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, as well as gastrointestinal diseases, malnutrition, or allergies/intolerances. The work involves assessment, treatment, and counseling both at the clinic and during home visits. You prescribe and order nutritional products and special dietary foods.
The work requires good collaboration skills as you will sometimes work in teams with other professional categories at the clinic and cooperate with relatives, home care services, and other healthcare providers regarding your patients. The work also includes group treatment for different diagnostic groups and supervision of students.
Employment Type:
Permanent employment with placement in Bromma, starting according to agreement. Full-time 100%, 40 hours/week, part-time may be discussed. A probationary period may apply.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Dietitian
- Experience in primary care is an asset, as is a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or other further education
- Class B driver's license is a requirement

When working in the patient's home, you must be able to cope with environments with pets/furred animals and not be sensitive to the smell of smoke.

The position is filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be used for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council's Healthcare Area:
- A register check is applied before the employment decision according to SLSO's general instructions for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination according to current directives, which is done through the occupational health service before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
