About the position:
We are looking for a midwife with interest and commitment to work with young people's sexual and reproductive health. The work includes, among other things, contraceptive counseling, gynecological and andrological examinations, talks and counseling on issues of sexuality and sex, as well as sampling, contact tracing, and treatment of STIs. In addition to physical booked visits and Drop In hours, we work with telephone, video meetings, and chat. The work also includes an outward-facing assignment, where we, among other things, receive high school students for study visits at the clinic. We are a low-threshold activity and always strive for high accessibility.
A large part of the midwife's work is done independently, but we value good collaboration in the team and support each other.
Norm awareness and diversity are important to us; all young people and all employees should feel equally welcome with us. As a work group, we cherish our respectful, positive, and solution-oriented work climate. In that spirit, we want to continue.
About you:
Those who work at our clinic need to be flexible, solution-oriented, and used to taking personal responsibility in the clinic work as well as for the work group and the clinic as a whole. We wish that you are secure in your professional role, which likely means that you have worked for a few years as a midwife, or otherwise have experience of working with issues related to sexual and reproductive health.
In this recruitment, we place great importance on personal suitability.
Qualification requirements:
- Licensed midwife with prescribing rights.
Merits:
- Experience of working with issues related to sexual and reproductive health
- Experience of working with young people/young adults
- Experience of patient contact in outpatient care via physical visits, chats, and video meetings
- At least 3 years of work experience as a midwife
Employment form:
100%, permanent employment during the day with service one evening a week and about one/two Saturdays per term (at another youth clinic in Stockholm). Start as soon as possible or by agreement. Probationary employment may be relevant.
Other information:
We will review applications on an ongoing basis and may call for an interview before the last application date.
Warmly welcome with your application!
The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken into account for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
