We are now looking for someone who wants new challenges and shares our vision that activities are an integral part of the elderly person's daily life!

Your tasks include working together with other professionals with the resident in focus. For us, it is important that the individual's needs are placed at the center, and this permeates our working method. You will motivate and support the residents to maintain and develop their abilities, as well as supervise staff in rehabilitative measures. You will work closely with nursing staff, initiating and supporting them in offering an active daily life for the elderly. The assignment also includes standard tasks such as prescribing assistive devices and rehabilitation after injury.

You will be part of a team with nursing staff, team leaders, nurses, occupational therapists, other physiotherapists, and relevant team members from their respective professions. At Hagagården, you will have one colleague who is a physiotherapist and two colleagues who are occupational therapists. As a physiotherapist, you can largely determine how you structure your workday and contribute to developing the operations.

Your assignment

Your work is based at Hagagården's care and nursing homes in Vendelsö. At Hagagården, we have wards for residents with cognitive disorders, somatic diseases, and short-term stays.

What we are looking for in you

• You are a licensed physiotherapist, confident in your professional role, and have previous experience in elderly care.
• You enjoy working in a team and are positive towards change and development work.
• You are proactive, flexible, and see opportunities rather than obstacles.
• You have excellent communication skills, both in meetings with people and in writing.
• You have digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions.
• We place great importance on personal suitability.

Documented specialist competence in elderly care, dementia, or palliative care is an asset.

As a person, you have a commitment to working with the elderly and you understand the importance of having good cooperation with colleagues. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues. You are responsible, independent, and can adapt your working method to the situation.

What we can offer you

As a physiotherapist with us, you will work with experienced colleagues from various professions. You will collaborate with other colleagues in the municipality within the same profession through profession-specific meetings. We offer education and further development in areas relevant to the assignment.

Working hours are Monday to Friday during the day, with holidays on red days and sandwich days.
