Our Facilities

Stocksundsgården is a care and nursing home with 30 apartments, located in a nature-rich residential area. Here, a home-like environment is offered with food cooked from scratch. In 2024, the operation was certified according to ÄTUP, which implies advanced competence in elderly meals and nutrition.

Klingsta is a dementia care facility with 39 apartments, beautifully located near Edsviken. Here you will find a quiet, green garden and proximity to lovely walking trails, creating excellent opportunities for activity and outdoor time.

Job Responsibilities

You will work in close collaboration with an occupational therapist, nurses, and nursing staff. Together with the occupational therapist, you form an important piece of the puzzle in creating a meaningful daily life for the residents. You will guide the nursing staff's responsibility in a health-promoting working method and help create a meaningful and active daily life for the elderly. You ensure and participate in the multiprofessional team surrounding the resident. Documentation is carried out in Treserva.

The physiotherapist in the team is responsible for:

• The physiotherapist's area of responsibility covers municipal health and medical care.
• You assess mobility and transfer abilities, set goals, and plan interventions. You are responsible for following up on your work.
• You communicate your assessments and planned interventions to other staff at team meetings and in the documentation system.
• You prescribe, order, distribute, and instruct residents and staff on assistive devices. You are responsible for canceling and returning rented assistive devices, as well as checking invoices from Sodexo.
• You are responsible for, together with the occupational therapist, ensuring there are updated local routines for MTP (medical technology products). This includes ensuring that instructions for handling MTP are available for nursing staff.
• You are responsible for keeping yourself updated within your area of competence. You must be familiar with laws, regulations, and guidelines governing your work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physiotherapist.
• Has good knowledge of current legislation, such as the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Social Services Act (SOL).
• Has basic computer skills and experience with documentation.
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has a B-class driver's license.

Experience working in elderly care is an asset.

You have a good ability to guide and inspire care staff. We believe you find it easy to put yourself in others' situations, listen, show consideration, and adapt. You handle stress constructively and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You work independently according to a clear process and organize and plan your work well. We place great importance on personal suitability.
