Do you want to help develop a more accessible and coordinated child and adolescent psychiatry for young people at risk of serious criminality?

Within the Research, Development, and Education section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Stockholm, we are currently recruiting a psychologist for BUP ANB within the unit Collaboration and Specialized Care (SoS). Here, specialized child and adolescent psychiatric care is provided for young people with complex psychiatric and social needs, where close collaboration with social services, police, schools, and the broader network is crucial.

BUP ANB provides child psychiatric care within the framework of Social Intervention Groups (SIG) for young people at high risk of serious criminal development. The working method is mobile and flexible, focusing on making evidence-based child psychiatric care accessible to a patient group with complex needs that the healthcare system often struggles to reach.

Clinical work at BUP ANB takes place within the framework of evaluation and continuous method development, offering excellent opportunities to contribute to organizational development together with the rest of the team and our collaboration partners.

Job Description

Your workplace will be at the BUP Research and Development Center (BUP FoUU) in Hagastaden, near Odenplan subway and commuter train stations. However, the patient-centered and mobile working method means that patient visits and collaboration with other professionals in the network primarily take place in facilities outside of BUP FoUU.

You will work together with other psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, nurses, and occupational therapists on child psychiatric assessments, investigations, individualized psychological treatment, motivational support, psychoeducation, and consultations for our collaboration partners.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus and experience in child psychiatric work, including neuropsychiatric assessments. In-depth knowledge of DBT and trauma treatment is an asset, as is experience working with children and adolescents with norm-breaking behavior and complex psychosocial problems.

Personal Attributes

You are engaged and responsible, with good collaborative skills towards both colleagues and external actors such as social services, SiS, and schools. You work in a structured manner and adapt easily to a changing environment. We place great importance on personal suitability.

What We Offer

The unit offers supervision with an external supervisor.

BUP Stockholm creates excellent conditions for you to develop and become truly excellent in your profession. As an employee, you enjoy benefits such as a favorable occupational pension, free outpatient care, extra compensation during parental leave, and insurance. We also offer flexible working hours, the possibility of remote work, and a health allowance (5,000 SEK per year).

Employment Type

The position is a permanent full-time role. Start date is negotiable.

Additional Information

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.

We look forward to your application!
