About us

Aleris Rehab Station provides specialized neurological rehabilitation in modern facilities in a beautiful environment near Hagaparken and Brunnsviken in Stockholm. Here, engaged employees with high involvement work with a shared focus on creating the best possible rehabilitation for our patients.

The Spinal Unit is a specialist outpatient clinic for rehabilitation and lifelong follow-up of people with acquired spinal cord injuries and spinal cord herniation. We constitute an important part of the care chain for people with spinal cord injuries within Region Stockholm.

The Role

As a physiotherapist with us, you will work with assessment and treatment both individually and in groups. You will become part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation instructors, nurses, doctors, and counselors.

Together, you will plan and carry out individualized, patient-centered rehabilitation. The role also includes:

• Assessing and treating spinal cord injury-specific complications such as pain, spasticity, balance difficulties, and shoulder problems

• Working in a health-promoting and motivating manner together with patients

• Prescribing and testing assistive devices

• Collaborating with other teams within the operation and, if necessary, working with patients with other neurological diagnoses

About You

Requirements:

• Licensed physiotherapist

Merits:

• Experience in neurological rehabilitation

• Experience working with people with spinal cord injuries

• A few years of professional experience

As a person, you are curious and have an interest in developing your competence in the field. You put the patient first, have good collaboration skills, and are driven to motivate and inspire others in their rehabilitation.

You enjoy working both independently and in a team, are flexible, and contribute with a professional approach. Through your communication skills, you create good relationships with both patients and colleagues.

Employment Terms
Employment type: Temporary position approx. 11 months (possibly with extension)
Scope: Full-time
