About the position

In the role of an anaesthetic nurse with us at the anaesthesia unit, you will have a unique opportunity to work variably within gynaecology, endoscopy, urology, surgery, and pre-/post-op. We work with short decision-making paths, contributing to an efficient and coordinated way of working. You will also be part of the acute care team.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Routine tasks as an anaesthetic nurse within gynaecology, endoscopy, urology, and surgery.
• Working within both acute and elective care.
• Caring for both elderly patients and children on the wards.
• Participating in the emergency team on evenings and weekends.
• Participating in the transport team when needed.

About you

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse with specialist training in anaesthesia. Please attach your diploma to your application.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Supervisor training (7.5 credits).
• Master's degree.
• Experience working within the profession.

Since the incoming patient flow varies, one of your strongest qualities is flexibility. You possess maturity both personally and professionally and are confident in your decision-making.

About us

Our unit includes operations with 4 operating theatres within orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, and gynaecology. We also have pre- and post-operative activities on our unit. Working in a smaller unit gives you great variety and close collaboration between the different clinics. Here you will join a work team that cares for one another and is keen to create a positive and developing work environment together. Every Friday, we take turns treating each other to breakfast, and every month we have a joint APT/workshop/training day together with the operating theatre and sterile services. We have decided to invest resources in our own staff instead of hiring from staffing agencies; we believe this benefits the development and quality of patient care at our fine hospital.
