Utbildia is a dynamic and forward-looking school group in strong growth. Since our launch in 2022, we have established eight successful units across the country. Starting in the 2025 academic year, we launched an initiative to build a central student health organization as a hub to promote our students' well-being and health. With us, you are a natural part of the Student Health Team (EHT), but you will work closely with both school leadership and the central organization to ensure we can make good decisions quickly that benefit both students and the organization.

At Spira Theoretical High School in Stora Essingen, approximately 750 students attend modern facilities near the tram line. Your Role – More Than Just a Traditional School Nurse

We are recruiting for one full-time position and one part-time position (50-60%) and are therefore looking for engaged and forward-thinking school nurses who want to make a difference at our high school in Stockholm! Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic planning and implementation: Responsible for planning and implementing the basic BAS program for EMI at the high school level.
• Collaboration in focus: An integral part of the Student Health Team to create a holistic view of the student's needs.
• Proactive measures: Plan and conduct individual health conversations and health checks, follow-ups as needed, referral management, and doctor consultations. Carry out health-promoting and preventive measures at the group level, in line with our shared annual calendar for student health.
• Individual support: Offer support and counseling to students in their school daily life and be a safe adult to turn to.
• Quality and patient safety: Ensure correct record-keeping and compliance with applicable legislation and guidelines. Documentation is done in Prorenata.
• Development of our central unit: Actively contribute to shaping routines and working methods within our central student health organization, in collaboration with the unit manager, MLA, school doctor, and school nurse colleagues at other Utbildia units.

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

• Formal competence: Licensed nurse with specialized education in children and youth, district nurse, or school health care.
• Experience: Preferably experience working with young people in a school environment, which gives you an understanding of their specific challenges and needs.
• Collaboration skills: Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, the principal, and other specialists.
• Drive and initiative: A self-reliant and driven person with the ability and interest to initiate and lead improvement work within student health.
• Empathy and engagement: A high degree of empathy and a genuine desire to support students' development and well-being.
