We at Attendo are now looking for a nursing assistant for Vällingbygården in the Hässelby-Vällingby district of Stockholm. Attendo Vällingbygården is a modern nursing home with 39 apartments divided into five living units, which gives a family-like feeling. Three units are intended for people with dementia and two for people with somatic illnesses. Vällingbygården is just around the corner from the entire Vällingby center with a wide range of shops, cafes, libraries, etc., and close to lovely parks. There are also very good public transport connections by subway or bus.

About the role

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a significant part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions

• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employers regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

Meritorious:

• Experience from care work in elderly care

• Experience of delegation
