Edö care and nursing home is beautifully located by Lake Magelungen in Farsta strand, just a few minutes' walk from the subway and commuter trains.

The care and nursing home currently consists of 107 places, of which 8 departments are for people with dementia and 4 departments are somatic-oriented. In 2019, the operation was awarded the Star Mark.

Your role

As a nurse with us, you have a central role in daily health and medical care.

• You are responsible for assessments, nursing actions, medication management, and documentation according to applicable guidelines.
• You work closely with nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers.
• You provide support to staff in medical matters and actively contribute to quality and development work.
• We work from a person-centered approach where the focus is on health, well-being, and quality of life.

As a nurse with us in special housing for the elderly, you are an important part of our work to actively ensure that residents feel safe, seen, involved, appreciated, and important.

We base our work on a salutogenic approach focusing on creating a sense of coherence for both residents and staff.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have good computer skills and experience with documentation in journal systems
• Are confident in your professional role and can work independently
• Have good collaboration skills and a professional demeanor

Experience in elderly care is an advantage. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.
