Specialist Physician in General Practice at Jakobsberg University Primary Care Center
Jakobsberg University Primary Care Center is part of SLSO, Stockholm County Council's Healthcare Area. We are located at Jakobsberg Hospital, a short walk from Jakobsberg center, and just 18 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm city center.
We are a pleasant workplace with approximately 50 employees across various professions. We serve around 13,200 registered patients and are one of the region's larger primary care centers.

About the Position
As a specialist physician in general practice, you will perform standard duties within primary care. You will meet patients of all ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds and supervise future colleagues. The work requires broad medical competence, independence, and strong collaboration skills with various professional groups.
We are a university primary care center, meaning we are responsible for the continuing education of healthcare staff in certain knowledge areas. At Jakobsberg University Primary Care Center, our knowledge areas include Cancer in Primary Care (CaPrim), Neurological Diseases, and Pain and Elderly Health.

Qualifications
- Licensed physician with specialist competence in general practice
- Experience working in primary care
- Familiarity with the TakeCare medical record system
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
- Proficiency with computers, including the Office suite
- Interest in healthcare development, project management, and continuing education

Employment Type
Permanent full-time position (100%) as a specialist physician.
Working hours: Monday–Friday.
A probationary period may apply.

- A background check is conducted prior to the employment decision, according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks upon hiring.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination according to current directives, conducted through occupational health services prior to employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is advisory for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
